MIL-HDBK-300M, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE HANDBOOK TECHNICAL INFORMATION FILE OF SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (24 NOV 2000)., This handbook is intended to provide the Department of Defense design, engineering, maintenance, training personnel and government contractors access to a data base, via hyperlink, (http://www.afmc-pub.wpafb.af.mil/HQ-AFMC/LG/lgi-page/lgis/MIL300/Milindex.htm) displaying DoD In-inventory Aerospace and Missile Support Equipment (SE). This data base will include a functional and technical description, associated technical orders, technical manuals, or commercial catalogues, relationship to similar equipment, end item(s) this support equipment is used on, and a simple line drawing. For government contractors, the handbook database is intended to provide sufficient information on an piece of support equipment so that it may be considered for a contemplated application. Use of this data system is intended to provide for maximum usage of in-inventory assets, and the elimination of duplicate design or development of support equipment for different weapon systems.

【摘要】:Amajorfactoraffectingthelongtermperformanceofinsulatingmaterialsisthermaldegradation.Otherfactors,suchasmoistureandvibration,maycausefailuresafterthematerialhasbeenweakenedbythermaldegradation.Anelectricalinsulatingvarnishiseffectiveinprotectingelectricalequipmentonlyaslongasitretainsitsphysicalandelectricalintegrity.Thethermaldegradationofthevarnishresultsinweightloss,porosity,crazing,andgenerallyareductioninflexibility.Degradationofthevarnishcanbedetectedbyadecreaseindielectricstrength,whichisthereforeusedasthefailurecriterionforthistestmethod.Electricalinsulatingvarnishesundergoflexinginserviceduetovibrationandthermalexpansion.Forthisreason,thisfunctionaltestincludesflexingandelongationoftheinsulation.Theelectrodesusedinthistestmethodaredesignedtoelongatetheoutersurfaceofthespecimen2%withrespecttotheneutralaxisofthebasefiberwhilebeingtestedfordielectricbreakdown.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherelativethermalenduranceofflexibleelectricalinsulatingvarnishesbydeterminingthetimenecessaryatelevatedtemperaturestodecreasethedielectricbreakdownofthevarnishtoanarbitrarilyselectedvaluewhenappliedtoastandardglassfiberfabric.1.2Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytovarnishesthatloseahighpercentageoftheirdielectricbreakdownvoltagewhenflexedbeforeelevatedtemperatureexposureasprescribedinthescreeningtest(Section9).Examplesofsuchvarnishesarethoseusedforhighspeedarmaturesandlaminatedstructures.Also,thistestmethodisnotapplicabletovarnisheswhichdistortsufficientlyduringthermalelevatedtemperatureexposuresothattheycannotbetestedusingthecurvedelectrodeassembly.1.3Thermalenduranceisexpressedintermsofatemperatureindex.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Note18212;ThereisnoequivalentIECorISOstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
