【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportspecifiestheessentialdimensionalfeaturesofR-,B-andM-rectangularpistonringtypeswithnarrowringwidth.Dimensiontables8and9allowfortheuseofcastironorsteel.Sincethemodulusofelasticityofsteelringsishigherthanthatofcastironrings,thefluctuationinthesurfacepressurewillbecomegreaterifthefreegapissetasthereferenceforforces.Thereforeforcesaresetusingthesurfacepressureasthereference,inordertomininizetheeffectofthefluctuation.TherequirementsofthisTechnicalReportapplytorectangularpistonringsofreciprocatinginternalcombustionpistonengines,uptoandincluding90mmdiameterforcastironringsanduptoandincluding100mmdiameterforsteel.Itmayalsobeusedforpistonringsofcompressorsworkingundersimilarconditions.
