【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationestablishesperformancerequirementsandtestprocedurestodeterminethestructuralintegrityoffull-sizecribs.Italsocontainsdesignrequirementsaddressingentanglementoncribcornerpostextensions,andrequirementsforwarninglabelsandinstructionalmaterial.Italsocoversbassinet,changingtable,orsimilaraccessoriestoacribthatwheninthemanufacturerx2019;srecommendedusepositionareintheoccupantretentionarea.TheseaccessoriesshallalsocomplywiththeapplicablerequirementsoftheASTMInternationalstandardsaddressingthoseaccessories.Forexample,achangingtablethatattachestoacribshallalsocomplywiththeapplicablerequirementsinConsumerSafetySpecificationF2388.Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverinflatableproducts.1.2Nocribproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementscontainedherein.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
